From Aunt Deb’s recipe box

Who doesn’t love a biscuit? These are not the best biscuits I have ever made (I much prefer a buttermilk biscuit to baking powder), but they were quick and easy and didn’t require any ingredients that I don’t usually have on hand. Except margarine… you could easily go with butter instead, and I would probably encourage you to do so, but I wanted to follow the recipe as written.
Either way, I ended up with a fluffy and delicious biscuit. Better than any boxed biscuit mix, and a perfect side to breakfast dinner.
To make them, first mix the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a bowl.

Add the margarine or butter, and work it in quickly with your fingers or a fork until it is crumbly in texture.

Add the milk and mix until everything comes together.

Roll out the mixture to 1 inch thick on a floured board, and cut out biscuits with a glass or a circular cutter.

Bake at 425 degrees for 12-15 minutes on a greased cookie sheeet.
